CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

In my career, Sound engineering. The subjects are very different, from the physics, mathematics, electronics and acoustics until read music, play piano and learn harmony. We have 8-10 branches in total between semesters and annually, so it requires a lot of time to study, the workload is quite since in the case of music and piano study daily, while in others you need a calculator and an exercise book.

In the Faculty of Art is very old, but there is a recording studio and various instruments to use. But the technologies are half obsolete, old and deteriorating. The building architecturally I like it enough because it bursts with its circular geometry in front of the square agronomy of downtown Santiago, delivering a panoramic view of the city center.

In recent years the career has been updated by changing some branches of name, compressing some subjects to make room for the students to practice sound engineering itself, using tools and equipment since the 3rd semester. But it has not changed the way to deliver the chair where the bouquets are in a room, teaching the math of the wave, the acoustic modeling of a room of even practicing music theory.The most interesnting things is the recording studio where the equipment is operated. We also implemented specializacion branches that consist of specific areas of the field such as acoustics, megafonia and the analysis of digital signals.

My favorite book

I do not currently have a favorite author, but I have read quite a few books by Stephen King and Fiodor Dostoyevski.

I personally like existentialist books like "The metamorphosis" or detective where the main story is a about the consciousness of the character

My favorite book is "El psicoanalista" is a detective novel of the John Katzenbach , where at the begining of the book they give him a letter on the brithday of the main characters, saying that in a short time he will commit suicide. A drama begins where the psychoanalyst start to look for his stalker.

The books that I am currently reading is "Your mix Sucks" it is one related to my carrer that explains the distribution of the mixes within the songs and how to create different levels whithin this one and the other is "Niebla" by Miguel de Unamuno, who started reading very recently. I think I would not recommend either of these last two, because one is very specific the subject that speacks separately is a not a novel, it is like an instructive, and the other has not yet advanced enough.

I usually start reading books for a specific goal, either to get ideas or vocabularies for songs whithin my band. I am trying to create a character that takes different aspect not only physcal but ideological and philosophical, for this reason I started a read "Niebla", which tell the story of a character who questions his own existence, asking him directly to the author.

my favorite food

My favorite food is a mached potatoes with meat and celery salad. I also like to cook, mainly noodles with tomato sauce, usually make the sauce with meat, I add croquettes or nuggets and real tomatoes  and add different dressing, like oregano, cumin, chopped carrot and peppers.

Usually I eat homade food, with prepares my dad and is rice with juice chicken or noodles and charquican, suddenly it is salty.

I don`t have favorite restaurant, but  I prefer a fast food cart that is near my house that sells the complete Italians to $750 :o or  any place of Chinese food.

I really like the culinary art, I think it`s interesting the mixes that can be created in the kitchen.

My Favorite Film

My favorite Film is "Inception" by Chistopher Nolan of the 2010, in this fantastic movie explains how six people manage to enter dreams and can modify information directly to the memory, I personally belive that it is a masterpiece, where the drama goes hand in hand with the action and where the power of the mind is realized. In this film immerses you in different parallel dreams created by the mind, you must be attentive to the drama and each dialogue of the character to fully understand the story. As a freak in this movie there is a part where all the scenery moves with the character giving realism in the dimensions that is great.

I like waching movies and series of the psychological or suspense type (Memento, 12 monkeys, The wild Planet, War of the worlds, etc), lately I saw a French movie called "Martyr" that explains how some scientists seek the origin of the soul experimenting with the edge of the mind, it is very strong, baleful and cruel, I would recommenden ir, but with warning that can leave with a sense of repudiation.

The best concert ever

The best concert ever was "Legalize Festival"  it was 23 of november in "Espacio Broadway". I remember the band "Deep Purple" and "Los Jaivas", it was amazing. Los Jaivas is the band of Chile and the genre is Psicodelic/Andean, in that occasion they played the whole disc called "Alturas de Macchu Picchu", it was incredible.

The atmosphere of the concert it was very relax and diverse, the people were very nice and friendly, I remember of a pool that was in place, I was very excited becuase I had never seen Deep Purple live and at that time I was very attached to that kind of music .But the most craziest was the return, I remember we walked along the edge of the road, at dawn, my house was on the other side of Santiago and we did not have a bus or a car that colud take us, until a pirate bus stopped, he said he threw us into the center for a few coins, when we went up to it we realized that it was full of alternative people, punk and peolple from all walks of life, the entire black bus was painted with spray and white spots like star in the sky. I remember that the next day I had proof :c

A Country I do like to visit

Well, It is difficult for me to choose a single country, but I think what is a Brasil, because is abundant culture, apart your music is very varied, I would plan to study the culture and from what I understand there is a style called carioca funk that is born in the favela and the idea is the electronic mix between popular songs, particularly not that I'm interested in the music itself, but the fact that people appropriate of art, culture and manage and mix as they please, making even musicians like American hit get into trouble, like listening to Metallica with a pop beat. That is to say, to have the freedom of free expression and to have the capacity to criticize and break the hand to a this general globalization, questioning who the artist is even creating artists without impressive skills, rather they are born out of a need, just like the beginnings of art.

For Example, cntinuing with this idea, I see it as an exemplification of the conquest of America when the Europeans imposed a religion and the native Americans modified saints or parts of the bible, to tie it with their own culture. In conclusion it is an intelligent response, for a democratizacion of art.

I don´t know how Facebook or Whatsapp keep safe my personal information, in fact I doubt it, but my limit is as long as they do not share my post and photos.

My favorite social media is Whatsapp, because is the most effective means of communication, it´s simple, there are the precise ones and this is not all this Facebook device.

Personally don´t like internet, because is how the secondary TV show, included your tastes, humor, making sure you´re going to like it, it´s like having a television with channels that you only like, without showing a contraste, making you follow your circle, your comfort zone. Without real debates without questioning your personality.

Also the human connection is lost,  the emotionality is replaced with a "like" and emojis. I think that there in nothing more intimate and calm than going somewhere knowing that nobody knows you are there, without revealing the world of what you are doing, so that when you come back to the memory it is with the people who lived and felt that moment, making me take a real nostalgia and be special, a unique memory between that person and you.
